These are just a few quotes that have really stuck with me. I find that quotes are good friends that give good advice and reminders that I can look to — and then there's some quotes that just make me smile. Click to read more below the jump!
QUOTE #1
"Though she be but little, she is fierce" — William Shakespeare
I first saw this quote when I was in grade 6, coincidentally right before we were about to to start our Shakespeare unit. I constantly find myself going back to it. It's just one of those statements that remind you of the person you strive to be. One that reminds others that large amount of fierceness, confidence, courage, and kindness can be found in seemingly small people.

"We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are." — J.K. Rowling
I am a firm believer in the wisdom J.K. Rowling has bestowed upon Albus Dumbledore. The idea that everyone isn't perfect, and that it's up to us to choose to be a good person really appeals to me.

"There is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shore no matter how many times it's sent away" — Sarah Kay
I think this might be my favourite quote out of the four and all I have to say is: what a beautiful kind of love.
